What do property managers have to do to give Pavlov Entrata access?

Property managers can follow the instructions on Authorize Pavlov to Entrata to give Pavlov Media access to the Entrata API.

What do residents have do to get set up with their Wi-Fi?

From the resident’s point of view, there isn’t much they have to do to get set up with their Wi-Fi besides give their contact info to property managers/Entrata. Pavlov’s system gets the resident’s contact information from Entrata. They get an email with their PSK (password) and SSID (Wi-Fi network identifier) information. They also receive an SMS with this info if their phone number has been provided and it is not an international phone number.

Should residents share their password?

The primary occupant and any co-applicants on the Entrata lease get Wi-Fi passwords. They should share this password with the other occupants.

How can they manage their own Wi-Fi access?

When their info is synced from Entrata to Pavlov, an account in My Account (Pavlov Media’s Wi-Fi management interface for residents) is created for each resident. They are instructed through email to access the account by setting a password.

My Account has three pages: Profile, Wi-Fi Password, and Troubleshooting.

Profile Page

Profile lets residents edit account details (their name), add contact information such as an email address or phone number, re-send validation codes to those addresses, and change their password for My Account (Change Password).

Wi-Fi Password Page

The Wi-Fi Password page is where residents can view or change their Wi-Fi password information. They click Generate New Key to change it. This is useful for removing the access of devices using the old key. Note that they cannot set their own key, only create a random one. They can also print out the key for reference.
